The Problem
The owners were tired of replacing shingles every 15 years on an exposed hilltop lot that catches wind off the ridge. They wanted something that would outlast them and handle the pine debris that piles up every fall.
What We Did
- Removed the old shingle roof and hauled off all debris
- Inspected and re-nailed decking, replaced damaged sheets over the porch
- Installed high-temp underlayment rated for metal panels
- Roll-formed 24 gauge panels on site so there were no cross seams on the long runs
- Custom bent valley, hip, and ridge trim to match the panel color
- Added snow and debris friendly ridge closure and new drip edge
The Result
A hidden fastener roof with no exposed screws to back out over time, rated for high wind and carrying a 40-year finish warranty. Rain slides off instead of collecting pine straw in the valleys.
Materials Used
"They rolled the panels right in our driveway. No seams across the long runs and the trim work is sharp. Last roof this house will need."
